Three layer plastic canvas wedding cake

Three layer plastic canvas wedding cake

This is a cake you can keep forever!  What a cherished gift.

All girls save their wedding dresses and pictures of their wedding cake.  But how about a cake that does not get eaten or thrown away, and that will be an everlasting memory?

  • Three layer wedding cake, made using 7 count plastic canvas.
  • I purchased three different sizes of foam circles to insert into each layer of the cake to help hold the shape.
  •  I bought the center piece off of eBay, and the lace, flower and yarn from Michael”s craft store.
This project will soon be one of the featured patterns on Kathy’s upcoming 99 Cent Plastic Canvas Patterns web site.  Stay tuned to this blog for more details…

i did this before and put gifts in each cake, it was really pretty.

Betty,

So each layer of your cake was not attached I take it.

I am working on creating a design that is a gift cake. I’ll post a picture when I finish it.

I too am interested in purchasing this pattern. Is it available yet?

I am interested in purchasing the Wedding Cake pattern. But when I looked at the attached web site, it didn’t list any price.
I am interested in this for a Honoring Heroes from a Tornado, this would be a great display.
